fear arrives in many costumes.

sometimes fear is a warning:

stop. turn back. this is not safe.

sometimes fear is an initiation: keep going. this is new. this is expansion.

but the body doesn’t always tell the difference at first. it only says: alert. pay attention.

and so we confuse growth with danger,

and protection with resistance.

this is why i’ve learned to sit with fear.

not to silence it,

but to ask it questions.

are you protecting me?

or are you stretching me?

and in the quiet,

the answer always comes.
